To post your pic type in the following:
(img)www.whereYOURpicISat.com/pic1.jpg(/img)

And instead of using these ( )
use these [ ]

see it works

but your pic must be on the web somewhere, not on your hard drive.

later,
suby

All right. Here is the easiest way to go.
If you want to post a pic, It has to be on the web somewhere. If you want to post your own pics, you have to upload them to a website. I use www.zing.com ( a free pic storage site), they have worked really well for me so far.
After uplaoding them, select the thumbnail pic you want off of the pic storage site. it will then show you the pic in full size. Now (this is important) right click on the pic, and select 'properties'. On the general tab, (should be the only tab) in the Address catagory should be a big line of letters numbers etc. double click it until the whole thing is highlighted. now hit ctl+C (copy) Windows will now hold the highlighted text on the clip board. Go to where you want to post, and type your text, and then hit Ctl+V (paste) The previously highlighted text from the pic properties should poof into view. now (even more important), folow the above instructions as to the [] thingys. and don't forget the foward slash.

you can do it with any pic you see on the web.

And another tip. If you ever want to find out how someone did something, ie, italics, bold type, pics, or smiley faces. just hit the edit button on their post. it will show all their secrets.

If you have more questions, let me know. I can help you out. I also have this pic posting thing down pretty good, so if you want to know some easy shortcuts for posting pics let me know. I have nailed down to only a few seconds.

Try this web site:

http://tinypic.com/

They host the pic for free, no need to register, and you just copy the message board code they give you after uploading the file y then paste it in where you type the message here...

Or, you can just use one of the many photos they already have on file...
