Default Is there a difference in sound between a 2.2 header-back and a 2.5 header-back?

If a 2.2l with Borla headers, midpipe, and exhaust and a 2.5l with Borla headers, midpipe, and exhaust were next to eachother. Both with the same cat-back, lets say the Stromung cat-back, would there be a difference in sound between the two? Would one be deeper than the other? Would either one have a different exhaust note? Just wondering.

The question you should be asking is, will the 2.5 liter engine sound deeper or different then the 2.2 liter engine.

For the most part, the answer to that is yes, they will sound slightly different.

Usually larger displacement engines sound deeper and throatier.
