So I saw some ghetto big GM thing w/big chrome dubzzzzz going down the Dan Ryan yesterday and it had those stupid "spinners" on them.
How gh3y are those things... I wonder how heavy those damn things are. ![]() -mykr.

Those things scare me. The first time I saw one I thought I was finally having one of those flashbacks everyone told me I would have because of things I did in the 70's.

i actually think it was a cool idea, something very original and unique.
what always like watching are the trucks with the huge dubs that arent even balanced properly, when your behind it, looks like the wheel is bent or something and it wobbles back and forth. i just laugh because that guy probably paid a ton of money for crappy wheels. mark |

I was in LaGrange last night, and I saw a big honking red truck with a set of those things. I was like crap, they have arrived.

I like Spreewells. They look sweet, but it has to be on the right type of car. Some big lux sedan or SUV that isn't for speed but big pimpin.

I saw a set on a Jaguar the other day.
Very odd, it took me a second to realize what I was seeing. |

On the right car they look decent. Old hot rod/roadster or a mid 60's impala or something like that. But when people are throwing them on any old thing they lose the "cool factor" real quick.
They actually look very cool on the 70-74ish monte carlos. |

They are the pinnacle of vehicular vileness, as sure an identifier of poor taste as those chain-type license plate holders, IMHO.
