Default Anyone with Magnaflow on RS

I want to get one of their mufflers for a cat-back system. I don't want anything much bigger than stock muffler. So let me know what size you have or part number. Pics would be great if you have them. Does anyone know the diminsions of the stock muffler off hand? Thanks.

This is what I used to help me decide what size to get: http://www.scoobymods.com/forums/sho...p?threadid=172

I bought this muffler over the Magnaflow: http://www.bulletperformance.com/ It's supposed to reduce more sound than the Magnaflow (2 inches longer), and it uses silentex to suppress the noise. I don't have any raspy sounds at all on my MRT header, and it's very quiet when I'm cruising. This is where I bought it from: http://www.thehitchshop.com/cart/cgi...spcl_0501.html The prices are not bad at all.

Good luck on your muffler buy!

I got the Magnaflow 14325. 4"x9" Oval, 14 " body length. Magnaflow Universal Fit, Stainless Steel

link

It also comes in the 18" body length, but that wouldn't fit in my 2002 OBS.

The Universal Fit might be cheaper than the Race Series. Great rumbly sound at idle, mild acc, and cruise. Snarls like a beast at WOT high revs. I have Brullen headers with their hi flow cat also.

This muffler was available at several muffler shops in town; quite easy to find and get. No special ordering, long delays and higher prices like the name brands such as Prodrive, Stromung etc.

Can you give me the part number for the highflor cat from magnaflow. I would really like to get one of these for the summer. Also what did you do, about the 02 sensors?

Thanks,

Andy

I have the magnaflow on my car...I also have clips.

I believe I have the 4x9 SS oval (offset / center) and it sounds really good. I also have a resonator built into my midpipe.

Here are some clips:

Stock headers with magnaflow muffler

Same exhaust with Borla headers.

Edit: I just posted my old muffler for sale in the Private for sale forum...If you're looking for one and dont mind a gold tip...its used but in great condition.
