18's pending on size you might have so problems with fitment
and when ordering from the US prepare to pay high high taxes you get the full gst/pst plus customs plus probably brokerage which makes the "great deal" a not so great one.
All taxes/brokerage and such will be assessed at your door.

17s looks good for the old body style. 18s might look too big for it. But, thats my opinion and regarding to getting things shipped, its best if you can ship it down to Seattle area and pick it up yourself or get someone to deliver it to you. That would save you quite a few bucks.

You'll be raped if you ship it from the States. Take my word for it. Don't go 18s. Its WAYY to big for the GC style and the tires are not cheap at all. 17s are the way to go.

Drive down to the States!

ths person from the shop said.. they won't charge me shipping from US

but all i have to pay is.. the price of the rim ... and all the taxes...

i just make a call to custom and ask .. but no one pick it up .. so i may call again tomolo.. and see how MANY taxes i need to pay

gst and pst for sure.. right... then any more taxes..?

hmmm....

thanks ... i know 18 is too big for my RS... and u are right.. i just check.... falken 512 tire cost me around 170 each in 17" but for 18" omg... it is almost 280 ..... too expensive...

thanks anyways..

18's will make your brakes look small.
They weigh a lot. They are more prone to damage.
Tires are more expensive.
Tires have a low profile so ride is rough.
Because of thin sidewall weaker wheels have more chance of braking.

17's are better. 16's are DA BOMB!!

Come and give my car a go along the 99 Jamie, i've noticed that the 18's are worth it if you can get a good deal, get bigger rotors, better cali's,pads ect. drum/disc swap is next on the list.
Tora you have a pm
