Default Just finished my blue LED conversion!

So, when I bought my car, the AC/Heater controls had no backlights. I finally decided to do something about it, and exhchanged the mini lightbulbs w/the green condoms on them for blue LEDs that match my stereo.

Well.. it works! And it looks badass.. though not as bright as I wanted it, cool nonetheless, and more than I had before. I'll have pics up later..

And I'd be happy to do this for anyone that wants me to..for a small $25 fee(parts included of course.. )

The LEDs work with the same voltage as the incandescent bulbs? or did you need a resistor to bring the voltage down from 12v to 3v?

No, 12V blue are hard to come buy. I used 5-6V with resistor.

Here ya go(it's better in person):

Yea.. my digicam is VERY sensitive to movement at low light..

And all in all, I'd say about 2 hours.. most of the time was me figuring out this control setup for the first time, and remembering the order and polarity I needed to hook it up..

If I had it to do again now, probably 45-60 minutes total time(at most).

and for those seeing a red X
