Default Keep it or spend it?

Ok... lets say some multi-billion dollar CEO gets a few extra $$ in his pocket. Maybe 6 or 700 million.

New condo? Or hire new people?

Which would you do?

Buy a nice olive farm in the meditarenean overlooking the sea. Do some farming during farming season, rest of the year hang out at the beach and driving in your private road in the mountains.

Isn't this a little vague? I mean, many things would have to be considered. Re-investing into the corporation is good, paying dividends is good, investment is good.

If you have that kind of cash, you must obviously have more, and so the destination of that cash would not mean as much as it would to one of us.

Two chicks man.

Just kidding. I agree with Dragon, need more info. I mean, did the company earn 600 million in extra profit? If so, then it's basically his duty to re-invest it in the company. If his own personal stock portfolio balooned by 600 million, then it's basically whatever he wants to do with the money. Personally, I'd put most of it in a conservative investment fund, let it chill for a few more years, then retire and have some fun.

700 mil? Why even bother with any sti.. just get a couple mclarens, and your own private race track. Hell, just by actual WRC or F1 cars at that point.. I'd go for something nice like the old Group B cars, probably the Audi S1. Then I'd get the Spyker C8 as my daily ride.

off topic a little bit.

the coolest job in the world is to be a buyer for a larger company.

Vendors will kiss your ass ALL the time and when it comes time for holidays and stuff when they are trying to push big promo purschases they bride you with small things... like cars... trying to get you to buy more crap.

Coke bought a buyer for Eckerds a new 320i one year for buying all sorts of crap that we couldn't sell

I figured the STi's would only account for about 2-2.5 million,I'd do the same with evos skylines ferraris etc,That was just the tip of the iceburg,

Just a CEO or the owner of the company? It makes a difference because if the CEO of a company gets the money and it is his wages/bonus's then that has nothing to do with hiring new people. That's what the companies money is for.

If it was me, I'd just retire. I could live very comfortably for the rest of my life on 700 mil.

I'd buy a $600 Tiki statue I found on eBay... and give the rest to Fred Zippy cause he really needs to get laid and I think it would help him

My sentiments exacly! Except for the daily driver. I'd get an old Aussie Ford Falcon and do it up like Mad Max's car for my daily driver! That would be cool!

I definitely would get a track and several old F-1, Indy, Can-Am and GTP cars.

I might keep and STi at one or all of my summer homes in case I visit there in winter and need AWD.

You don't know nothing! You can get laid for far cheaper than $600. Canada and legal prostitution are right across the river you know.

not that I would know anything about that.
