Deaf for me also. If you're blind you can't see people mooning you from their cars, and really, without that life would be pointless.

Yeah. People talk too much anyways. It'd be nice if you could be sitting on an airplane and fall right to sleep.

I've heard that some deaf parents won't let their (deaf) children have the implants because it's seen as imposing treatment on what the 'hearing world' considers to be the disabled, and they don't consider themselves disabled, they can function normally in society.

Strange but true.

I'd rather be deaf....... I couldn't deal with not being able to see whats going on around me.

Theres a blind kid on campus who has to count out his steps to get to class. I was walking behind him on day and he was saying his steps out loud. "1, 2, 3 steps turn left 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, turn right 5 stairs turn left 5 steps." I was amazed

Tough choice.. I always considered hearing the stronger sense.. But not seeing would suck too.. Dancing would be hard without hearing.. Unless they have the system loud enough that you can feel the music..

hmm.. I'd have to pick deaf.. I can at least still drive deaf..

I thought it was, "what you don't know, can't hurt you" Anywhoo...Deaf all the way! You can still communicate with others, you can look into the eyes of the one's you love, you can still get the emotions that they are expressing, etc..
