what exactly do they do? does it make steering response faster? or is it just a "feel" thing?

also, thanx for the wing install. looks great. some guy in a stock wrx crapped in his pants when he was me on the bay bridge sunday!

oh, and i had another question for ya gino. Where did u mount your DEFI control unit? I'm getting a BF boost gauge and control unit in soon from a GB. when u werent looking i snooped through your car lookin for the control unit and didnt find it.. I had to settle for the $5 in change u had in the little change compartment on the left of the steering wheel!

on the bushing for the steering, it makes your steering more compliant to the feel of the road and true allignment when cornering...no flex

Question

I second that too.

And Gino, I have this strange minor(not sure) engine overheating problem after I got some jobs done in Red Star Racing back in like 3 months ago. I think Tito put in new coolant without draining the old coolant out. Or maybe, there was mistake occur when he took out the cooling fans to install the lighten pullies. Things put on that day-ProECM chip, 3 pullies and ALK. Or is it the ProECM chip? Once again I'm NOT SURE. I did not notice the problem until I got into a traffic jam where the temperature needle hit the H mark!

Could you help me out here? I appreciate it!

Its the same bushing so I would presume so

I can help anyone in the Sac area do the install if they arent willing to make the drive down to MPJ (not trying to steal any business, but it costs about $20 in terms of gas to drive down there and back )

This is a great upgrade for anyone who enjoys DRIVING their car...and I know you all do! Gino, and the friendly staff at MPJ installed these in my GC8, and I enjoy the feel on a daily basis.

Less slop + More control =

What would Scooby do?

Thumbs up !!!

Hey Gino, Andrew did a great job installing my Carbotech brake pads, ss brake lines, MRT brake bracket, motul fluid and steering bushings today. The brakes are awesome now and the steering feels a bit tighter.

Anyone looking to upgrade brakes, aggressive pads, ss lines and the brake bracket really make a difference. I also had Andrew flush the brake fluid and refill with Motul 600. The brakes are firmer, more responsive and definately grip a lot quicker. This is a great improvement while still keeping the original claipers and rotors.

Down side, the Carbotech Panther plus put out more dust and are supposed to be harder on the rotors. But they are great for the summer track days!!!

Thanks again Andrew/Gino MPJ/GP!!!

Jim

Gino,

I couldn't tell from the thread. Are these for a WRX?

What is the material made of? Is this for both sides of the steering rack?

Thanks,

Gary

Polyurathane (yellow) and fit both sides, and they work for pretty much all USDM Imprezas. (So yes, the WRX)
