Default How to remove rev limiter and speed governer

Yeh i own a MY00 2.5rs I want to know what I have to do to remove my rev limiter and speed governer. Is it a chip or something like a Pro ecm and if so..what do people think about that product?

the 2000 doesn't have a speed limiter. well it does, it's called aerodynamics. Our cars are shaped like bricks so you won't be getting too far too fast.

And to raise the limiter? you are going to need some sort of ECU modifications to do that (and no the pro ecm doesn't do that). You can "supposedly" safely raise it to 7000 RPM's w/out doing internal modifications.
