Thats the yellow/chrome COBB intake that replaces the stock airbox, but I need to find a model # or something so that I can try to shop out better prices.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Yes, cobb intakes are expensive unless you find them used. Nobody else has found a better price, so I dont think there is one.

You will find it for 269 new no matter where you go... They aren't mass produced like the AEM, so only Cobb and authorized Cobb distributors sell them...

I don't really have a problem with the price, its more of the lack of info on that site. The site is under construction and not anywhere near a professional online sales storefront. I'd just feel safer shoping elsewhere if I can get a model # so that I know what to look for.

www.cobbtuning.com

that's straight from the source...

another that carries it... www.imprezars.com

Larry runs that site and is a great guy... Those are the 2 I would go with... make sure to ask about lead time... one might have it ready to ship sooner...

$269.00 is the going rate for the Cobb Intake. I just picked one up form Dale at teaguesauto.com to replace the Ganzflow. It took 2 weeks to come in and is well worth the price. No lose of low end and the hesitation at 3500 rpm's is gone. If you are unsure of who to buy from, I recommend Dale, he is a great source of information and his customer service is top notch. A lot of vendor could learn from how he treats people.

somehow I missed the CAI link on the power packages section *shrug* I went to cobb immediately after I found it on the other site looking for it. I've found it now =) I'll make a few more payments on my car then perhaps purchase it X_X

Thanks,

Default Try calling PRM

Why don't you try calling PRM Racing ?
They make the filter section, if not the whole intake for COBB tuning.

Cheers,
Chad

I'm going to probably go for N/A power, I wonder how much power a Cobb CAI and MRT Header will net over my Ganzflow, Borla Header, and Catless track pipe?
