Question Impreza and Legacy Propshaft Lengths and Types

I'm looking to find details on propshaft lengths and types...

I'm in the process of swapping a Legacy Turbo 5MT into what used to be a 4EAT WRX... I have the UJ propshaft from a 1993 5MT AWD Impreza, and the shorter DOJ propshaft out of the 4EAT WRX...

I'm trying to figure out if I can just use the UJ propshaft out of the other Impreza, or if there's some specific reason that the WRX uses a DOJ type.

/Andrew

Yeah, I've seen that much, and, to the best of my knowledge, the propshaft from a 5MT '93 Impreza L AWD should work perfectly for me.

However, I'm concerned about the fact that it uses a universal joint instead of an offset joint (more like a CV, I think)... I don't think it should be a problem... but wanted to see if there was anything I should be concerned about.
