Default What chips are available for 2002 RS+

I've gotten my brother-in-law an intake, exhaust, short shifter and lots of suspension goodies, but next I wanna look for a chip of some sort so he can get the max performance out of the intake and exhaust.
Any reccommendations?

Bry.

The reflash is ok, but what do you do for the month you have no ECU, get one from a junkyard?

the cobb reflash is not out yet. They are currently only flashing the wrx. I have spoken with cobb they said that by the time the access ecu reflash is available for the 2.5 impreza, the access port will also be available. The access port is what will allow you to flash your own ecu. (Great for people that cant afford the downtime sending out their ECU) You would simply download a map from the cobb tuning site, plug in your access port, plug it into the ecu and upload it. The access port also has the ability to save maps, so you would be able to save your stock map, in case you ever wish to go back. when you purchase the access ecu i believe they give you a license number, with that number you will be able to log onto the cobb website and download maps for various stages. Say you add a set of pulleys and headerback exhaust system. You would then just download whatever stage map is closest to your setup and upload it to your ecu. You will not be charged to download new maps.

there is a ton of info on the www.cobbtuning.com click on forums.
here are a few direct links to 2.5 related stuff, also check out the wrx stuff though as it is relatively the same idea except they have the ability to play with boost. Also in the works is the Access Tuner, which will allow user programmable tuning, but this most likely wont be ready for a good while. The release date for the access port was scheduled for the end of this month, but i expect it to take longer than that.

2.5L products
NA ecu reflash, where, when?
General Access ECU information - Mostly for wrx
hope this is usefull
