Default Blue Ganzflow worth wait?

I was going to order a Ganzflow here pretty soon and I was thinking about getting the blue version but is it worth the 2-4 week wait for it?

Does it look similar to WRB or RBP? I saw on the website a picture of it that makes it look good but want to see if it is the picture or if that is really how it looks. (You know how pictures can change the color of things sometimes.)

Thanks

How long did it take you to get it? Was it closer to 2 or 4 weeks?

The blue color looks great on my silver RS. I have a blue cusco strut tower brace and the colors are essentially identical. When I ordered mine it was supposidly backordered, but I still received it in a few days. As was mentioned before Larry is great to deal with.

That sound clip sounds awesome. Just out of curiousity where was the microphone when you took that clip. Was it in the engine bay or sitting just outside the hood?

The mic was placed about 2-3 feet in front of the car pretty much level with the front grill. The hood was open. Its not realy any louder that stock, but there's more of a grunt when its reving up.

Here's anotehr sample, this one the mic was about 5 ft away hood closed. both clips were recoreded the same way, one is stock, the other with the intake.

Stock

ganzflow

Last time i posted someone said they soundedl ike chain saws....

Or you could get this....

Not as blingin', but similar design and only $55. But if the bling factor does it for ya, go for the ganz.

Joe: If you still have your stock filter and intake, by only replacing the filter with a higher flowing filter will generate more noise. I know when I first got my k&n panel filter it definitely brought the engine sound out a bit more. You don't actually hear your intake, but without the silencing effect of the stock setup, it just allows you to hear it better.

You reset it so your ECU has a baseline map and relearns faster. I wish the N/A section discussed much of the same aspects as other boards... BTW, the 55$ intake is a PDM intake..

Don Nimi and company will treat you right. Even though it has to come from canada, its well worth it. Its not fancy and its not a cobb, but your wallet will definitely thank you.

Joe: Yeah, I can't hear mine anymore b/c of my borla headers/catback and random tech hi-flow cats either, but that's not really a bad thing. I have plenty of people at auto-x's either compliment the sound of my exhaust or at least mention their surprise at how beefy it sounds for a 2.2L.
