S-AFC II installed
I have my s-afc II installed and I think working properly. Though I noticed that I am much much richer than I was without it is this normal?
This is all in prep for my turbo but this is what I'm running:
K&N cone filter
Walbro 255 fuel pump
flattened leading edge of throttle plate
Idle fuel pressure is 36psi. And EGT's would hit max of 1400F.
With the S-AFC2 I'm seeing EGT's max at 1300F so I'm definately rich. Likewise, I was seeing o2 readings around .80-.85 all the way to 6500 at WOT. Now after the install it's around .80-.85 and increases to .95 at 6500 at WOT. From that I would say that I'm a lot richer.
I'm just confused because I thought with zero'd correction it would operate the same as stock. Am I right to assume this? Regardless, I'll just try to get it back to 1400.
