Isn't that a GMRS station

Actually, it's a shared station according to my manual, but I need a license to use it! EVIL!

But yes... As I talked to Doppelganger up in WMass, he said 5-5 is what they often use.

I say if we use GMRS stations... Then go for the gold! station 6-28.

you should start a new thread with a diff topic..... Something like HUGE MEET On the 28th, Or Official JUne 28th Meet. just to get more people to look, some peoplemight be turned off by seeing the same topic over and over. Or who might not know the location in the topic and not even look.

Just start a new thread. Copy over the details and list

Placing the official primary thread on the NESIC forum...

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...89#post3928689

Newest details, etc will all be there.

Important a thread stays here in Tristate though! So, I'll keep this updated as always.

Seems to me from looking at my map, you'd be better off taking the 684 to 84 route instead of using Rt.7. Route 7 is more like a main road, sort of like The Post Road... Stop lights, and all that BS. That's my opinion based on a map!

And since this thread is back from the depths of he11...

We're up to 64 people from the Subaru boards, and 18 miscellaneous people...

If you can't count...

That's 82 people!!!

Can we say, this meet is going to be BIG?!?
WOOT!

Definately 684 to 84 over route 7.

A good back road drive would be down route 7 to 116. lots of twisties

Alright, been plotting out different ideas for a drive...

Here are the 4 ideas I've come up with....

1.) Take a drive up Route 7 up to either Cannan, CT or Great Barrington, MA... From there we turn East onto 23, then drop down South onto Route 8, and take backroads all over the area, which will be plotted out...

2.) Same as above, except turn Wes into 23, go into NY and drop south and take a number of misc roads which I will plot out.

3.) We drive up Route 7 (30 minutes to an hour drive), and meet at one of the Connecticut state parks in the Northwest area, and we can hang out there.

4.) We stay at Marcus Dairy, hang out, talk and hope they don't kick us out for hanging out there all day!

I'm right now in vote of either option 3 or 4. Just wanna get some thought from what you guys think about these 4 ideas.

Posted a concept map of the drive ideas, and where parks are located.

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=364737

Check the NESIC thread for the map
