Default STI Red Intake Manifold?C02 setup on Intercooler???

What is so good about the STI intake Manifold over the stock wrx intake manifold. I know there has got to be somehting what are the advantages and does it give you hp torque? Help greatly appreciated. Also has anyone run a co2 setup on there stock intercooler? Gains?
Thanks for your help guys!

The red powdercoat is the only difference between manifolds. The only appeal is improved looks. Im not sure how this pertains to engine management though, it should probably be moved to Factory Forced Induction.

The Type RA manifold has a port for water injection, but the STI head is just a pretty red colour

So the same intake header for a 2.5 liter turbo can be used on a 2.0?

Hmmm, learn something new every day.

Oh, and here is a bump for moving to FFI

I meant the STI 2.0 intake manifold, not the new USDM 2.5

I think they're universal...

I don't think the 2.5L is larger externally... Internally larger is more like it.
