Would someone please post/send me a sound clip of their COBB at idle and at WOT? Preferably one on an engine with no other mods (exhaust, headers, etc.). My engine is stock now and I want to try and see if I can hear what it will sound like with the COBB. (mind you I'm not doing it for the sound, I'm just curious...). Thanks for anything...

It looks exactly the same... I got my intake from the company that makes them for Cobb and it didn't come with any instructions. I wouldn't say I'm a genious with the wrench but it was a really simple install.

You're not going to believe the way your car will sound after, I had no idea an intake could change the way the car sounded that dramatically. At idle and low RPM's its barely noticeable but mash the gas and the sound is something else. Unfortunately I can hardly hear it any more after getting my Brullen header back installed.

I have a question, why did you waste your money on a CObb CAI if you're going to turbo your car soon?

I love my header back exhaust, along with the intake and an ECU reflash by Yoshio my car is 100x more fun than when I bought it. I was in a group buy for the exhaust through the Toronto Subaru club since Brullen is in Toronto. A bunch of us were the "guinea pigs" for Brullen while they were developing the exhaust and we scored a pretty good deal, actually the measurements for Brullens MY'02+ catback were from my car.

As for the intake, its made by a company called PRM and they're located just north of Toronto. It was quite a bit cheaper than Cobb but I'm not sure whether he ships them directly to customers. I picked mine up at the owner's home since he had an extra one laying around and at the time he wasn't sure whether the intake would even fit on a MY'02 -- but luckily it did. Here's the PRM website PRM Racing.

Hey now, I asked first! ... Somehow though, I don't think he's going to be selling it, seeing as how he's already said he's going to give it away. If you do though, nick, I got first dibs!
