Default how to read/identify EJ25 Engine Serial number

I'm going buy a EJ25 short block but i don't know how to identify it, so i wonder if Anyone know how to read/identify EJ25 Engine Serial number and/or if their any different visually on the short block . I want to know the year of the short block, production date, and how to tell the different between Phase I and Phase II short block.

Default serial number

hey what year is your ej25 motor and where did you find the serial number i cant find the number i found like 6 different numbers. can you help with the location?
