Default Floor Mat Options

Since the car doesn't come with floor mats, please add floor mat options to this thread, with pics and prices, so that we can all decide what the best mats are for our STi's!

I'll start:

accessory "Rubber Floor Mats - Heavy Duty" $55 MSRP.

I think the OEM WRX mats might be ok too, but I don't have a source or a price. ----edit I found WRX mats for $63.70 on allsubaru.com . I'm not sure if this is front only.

The weather tech mats have been discussed also.
www.weathertech.com, and put in 2003 Subaru WRX, since they don't want their images linked.
The Black or grey Advantage luxury carpet mats, with rubber liner, seem pretty nice. $104 shipped F/R, or $64 shipped front only.

Any others?

Yeah I only have a pair of cheapies from the dealership in the car right now, but I think I'm going to get a WRX set until they have STi ones available (If they ever make them).

I bought the weathertech mats for my del Sol. I don't care for them. Even thought they hold something like a gallon of water they are so flimsy that you can't get the mat out without spilling out. Plus in my del Sol they slide to easily and always wind up under the pedals. I've got a "free" set of WRX that I'm going to use. Maybe if they offer STi ones I'll consider.

Just notices the second anchoring hole. Does the rug come with a second one we install or something? Might be a generic one?

If anyone can chime in, please do while I check on my own!

Thumbs up

Sign me up for the floor mat GB! Do WRX mats come with the anchor hole? (The beat-up RS mats I'm using now do not).

Otherwise, I don't see too much of a difference between it saying WRX and STi.

another totally cool option is to get ones made by these people:
http://store.ggbailey.com/escalate/s...iley&page=Main
build your own with edging and embroidery too.
they don't list the '02 Impreza but I emailed them and they said they have it available.
have fun
byron
(BTW a maxed out 4 piece set with all the options is $120)
