How much would one help with an N/A car? I think it would help by being able to launch at a given RPM WOT, and you can shift at WOT with the RPMs set at say 5900. Anyone tried one? I know its a stupid question, but I was just wondering..

Its a two or three step rev limiter that allows you to have one limiter at say 3500 rpms to launch under WOT which is more beneficial with FI because it builds boost, but I think it help me with my pitiful launches quite a bit since I can't hold the revs when I'm stomping the gas and letting out the clutch.. You can also have another rev-limiter set slightly under your stock rev-limiter so you can shift without taking your foot off the gas, this is also beneficial for turbo cars, but can keep people from bouncing off of their factory rev-limiter if they power shift..

For turbo cars I can see the benifit...for N/A cars I dont...especially AWD ones.

Since AWD gets tons of traction off the line, you dont have to limit the RPM to prevent wheel spin...

As for shifting, its VERY BAD to power shift an AWD car...especially a Subaru with their known to be skechy Transmissions.

Thats my take on it.

Well, I have a big problem with bogging launchs, and hopefully my cluthc and flywheel I installed today will help out with this. We'll see, 300 and some more odd miles until its broken in
