help on japanese part numbers

I'm looking for a part number for the Cross Sport style grill for the 03 forester. Or better yet someone in the US that has the part.

I believe what UR wanting is #J1017SA040. And it runs at the cost of 30,000 Yen (about $255.00).

When you click on the picture and pop-up link comes up...the parts numbers are listed sequencially in accordance with the numbers dictated on the photo (Part #(1) Grille, #(2) Brush Guard and so on.

You could probably order this part from Teiwa . Just go down the menu to "SPECIAL ORDER/INQUIRY". I've purchased from them B4. But shipping is $$$$. I suppose it's the price we pay to be the first on the block. The US block that is...

I scrolled to the bottom of the Teiwa site and clicked on the #1 Subaru portal...Wow!! I never realized that their were so many links.

Steve, Sure I would! I just don't know where to get my hands on the AeroSpec ones. Unless of course you're selling the one or one identical to picture...

Well I was going to post a beautiful closeup shot of the Cross Sports grill I'm after, but apparently some of us can paste in images and some of us can't... but thats a whole 'nother thread...

So this is what I want - The Cross Sports Grill part number. Want genuine Subaru part.... Looks like the Aerospec somewhat. Viewable at

Isnt there some knowledgable Japanese connection out there? (sorry frustrated by not being able to post pics...) My Dealer (Koby in Mobile AL) has assured me he can order the part if I just get him a dang part number... I have seen several of this for sale on Ebay Japan, but none of those guys want to ship here
