just got back from the dealer in MD for my first oil change after a month of ownership. for some odd reason the oil change was free?!?!? all i paid for was some touch-up paint, damn road debris....
i was talking to the general manager about the STi, and they have sold 6 already. all for MSRP. he said they have been going out the door for $31,000-$32,000. some guy in washington state bought it from there and had it shipped to him. anyway, just posting my first service experience.

most dealers you buy your car from, give you the first oil change for free, as a 'thank you' They are also trying to hook you. First one free, your its more than likely you will bring your car back to them for future service.
im guessing your salesmen didnt tell you about it? Jay |

I suspect they are taking some records on wrx. why do they want you to take it to the dealer when it only takes 30 min for me to change the oil, 3 hours at the dealer? For free? No, you've already paid for it in your price! Besides, they can point out how you invalidated the warranty by installing some stuff.
