Aaaahhh.... finally real cars in the real light of day with no photoshop cleanups.

Great pics!

Did they happen to have any close ups of that silver wagon in the background of that last shot?

Thanks Tango!

Ack! A pass-through in the rear seat. That's a probable sign of no fold-down rear seats. Bummer, but still sexy looking nonetheless.

That's not necessarily a pass-through, could just be an armrest. Our Outback has an armrest like that but the seats still fold.

Forget the cars, that's some nice grass! Can they transplant that to my backyard?

My wife's Golf has that, and the seats fold down.

Perhaps the same way a WRX wagon has a center shoulder belt and also a 60/40 split rear seat?

I assume that's an Outback wagon you got there, eh? A pass-through/armrest is the death knell of fold-down seats in Subaru sedans. Here's to hoping for better though.

Unless they redesign it for the US, you may as well check your hope in now m8.

While I hate to bring bad news, that's the fact of it...

But I think you'll forgive it its fiobles once you've driven it - note the pic of wheel hard over Anyone note serious caster?

Cheers

Just an observation, but did anyone notice the rear wiper on the sedan? I've never seen that application on sedans in North America. Is this something fairly common on the JDM cars?

It may provide you with a better view out the back, but IMO it just isn't my cup of tea. Kind of takes away from the cars styling.

Default Rear wipers on sedans...

is common over in Japan. I wish it were offered over here too.

BTW, the US-spec EVO has a rear wiper.

Is the wiper a regulation or something in Japan? Seems to be on all their sedans. Rear visibility thing or really dirty roads?

In Japan it rains a lot. It's maybe for that? Please, correct me if I'm wrong.

Talking Nice Pics, now how much and when?

Great pics.

I was surfing subaru.co.jp for pricing on the JDM B4 and got a price of 2,880,000.00 JPY (24,448.16 USD by XE.com) for the B4, any idea of a) if/when US market will get a B4 and b) how much?

Anyone got an idea?

i think its funny how some of yall see pictures of this pretty good looking car that we have been waiting to see, only to complain about the apparent lack of folding seats. i am personally happy to see a car that will give subaru a legit volume seller in the midsize market, folding seats or not. im not criticizing anybody, i just think its funny

hey, that's no fair coming from a wagon owner!

yesterday i had to throw a 6 ft ladder into my Legacy sedan and didn't think twice about it. Folding seats are a damn handy feature sometimes. It seems Subaru would prefer I buy a wagon for that added flexibility.
