I don't even know where to start... The description is priceless, there are simply too many funny quotes to post! Also, be sure to click on the videos provided. They really drive the point home for buying this classic!

Good stuff. I like how the car has a label in case you forget what you're trying to pose as...

At least the chrome is shinny.

"Most people bring their car to screeching halt in awe of this fine racing machine so that they can get a better look."

Sounds kind of dangerous to me. I see some nice cars around here and have never done this.

When it comes to performance, the 5 speed manual transmission provides great power with cat like responsiveness.

If your on the highway or zipping around town, this FERRARI 250 GTO has plenty of raw unbridled power so do not be supprised if you see this very car in the FAST N THE FURIOUS III.

Ths is classic.

Actually, the dimensions of the early Z cars were so close to the real 250 GTO that the coversion wasn't all that hard. They actually did a nice job on the body, but they should be advertising it as a 260Z with a Ferrari kit rather than as a Ferrari.

I always get a laugh out of people that write and spell like 12 year olds that try to sell stuff like this, though.

oh man. did you guys even click on the videos? LOL!!! One of them is a Shell commercial and the other one is from one of those Fox specials. None of them show the actual car.

It has an inline 6 cyc engine...read as stock. Oh...by the way, the 260Z was the crappiest line of Zs made. Only produced between 74 and 76. The first of the fuel injected Zs...also was a hybrid between electronic ignition and points to improve cold weather starting.

funny they did all that work on the body and didn't bother with the interior. I wonder how that engine does hauling around all that bondo?

When you look under the hood you will find an Engine that is ready to go and if the gas peddle is put to the metal this FARRARI 250 GTO turns into a speed-demon and will put on a show that the faint of heart will shy away from.

Miles : 23,818 Miles Showing on ODOMETER

Basically he's not telling you the mileage. Either it flipped over at 100,000 so it's now at 23,818, or he adjusted it himself.

I love the part about the "perfect paint job" and then he mentions the stress cracks you can see from 10 feet off. Almost every description is like that. "Blah blah perfect... except for..." Like the window with the BB hole in it.

"Paint : There is just a super nice racing red paint job on this Ferrari 250 GTO. As you walk around the car you can't help but to be impressed with the sparkle, shine and rich luster to the paint job. You will also notice a number of stress marks or cracks that are not visible from 10 feet away, but are obvious as you get closer"

I actually have one of these. it was left to me by a relative that pased away and has a v8 377 stroker kit conversion w/4 barrel carb. Fun to drive and gets alot of compliments. Although when people ask I always say it is a kit. Kind of tacky to try to pass it off as the real thing.

FAKE BID BUDDIES:

Beware of your fellow e-BAY competition.
Generally they e-mail you stating that, they saw the car that you are bidding on and that the car is JUNK or something to that effect.
Once you retract your bid, stop bidding or ask to pay far less, they use a different e-mail address and e-BAY ID and out bid you in the end.
Their goal is to buy the car as cheap as possible even if that means blowing you off the car by any means Necessary.
Don’t fall for their tricks.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:

Thank them for their time
The same way that they secretly contacted you, secretly contact the seller, so that eBAY can be the judge.
Ask them for their FULL NAME & ADDRESS, see how far you get with that.
Ask them for their e-BAY user ID and Phone number.
If they are telling the truth they will give you the information that you asked for.
Do a search on them, e-mail people that they have bought or sold things to, if they never bought or sold anything - hummm ...

This guy writes and has dry humor like Eric M. !

I like the banner that says "We are here to work with you, but: No STORIES, No EXCETIONS." Not sure about that Excetions part...
