Question Would this Be Ghetto?

Ok here is the question of the day? I will have 270hp in a matter of 3 weeks ( Prodrive Stage 2). If i buy the front grill and the door stickers off the STI and put the rear STI badge on? Wuold this look like a RICER? I have the JDM Lights as well as P7 Wheels. Please give me feed back?

Chris

the definetion of rice is different from people to people... i personally think what you are doing is not ricey... i know a lot of people with STi grills and they look nice~~ i usually don't like putting stickers on my cars... but if i do, i'd only put stickers of the parts that i used... i wouldn't put ADVAN sticker when i don't have ADVAN rims or something like that...

as for the rear STi stickers... not sure... some people might think you are wanna be STi (like people putting type R sticker on thier GSR) but than again, there are argument that STi is an after market parts name, not a name of a type of car (like type R or Si).....

as a conclusion... just do what you feel like doing~ oh... and those JDM lights are definetly ricey~~ give them to me~~ kekeke

I agree with that statement. STi is after market. The dealer even told me when he didn't want to fix something on my car. He said they are made for the Subee but are not factory Subee. Just like TRD for the Yoda's out there.

Oh yeah...the lights...give them to me

Do what you like, and don't worry about what others think.

I have a WRB wagon and want to put gold wheels on it. My girlfriend thought it would look "rice", but she said to do what I want because, in the end, it's what will make me happy...no matter what anyone else thinks. Gotta love her!

Since we're about to get the REAL STi, I wouldn't go so far as putting the STi sticker(s) on. The grill maybe, but not any badges. That's my take on it but ultimately, it's up to you. I also like the sleeper look and wouldn't want to do anything to draw attention to myself. Let your car do the talking.

since you are getting prodrive parts, put on a prodrive sticker, if you have a bunch of sti parts, put on a sti sticker.

if you have prodrive parts why put on sti stickers? and vice versa

just my $.02

So with that said, if you don't have STi parts then that would be kinda rice to pretend you do have STi or that your car is some how an STi.

Like others have said if you have prodrive and you want stickers then put some prodrive stuff on.

I just got some Solid Fog Light covers and it has the Pink STi sticker on them, but I have a bunch of STi suspension stuff. So I think I'm ok

Anyway just do what you think looks good and don't wory about what others say.

I just installed my STI door logos. I would have to admit, they look SWEEEETTTTT! Well if there not going to bring the STI Wagon over, I guess I'll make one What it all comes down to is, how you do it. You can sometimes go waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyy over board, with the RICER LOOK! Just my $0.04.

can we get a little more angle on that rear wing? WRXs obviously oversteer way too much, so let's add downforce to help stick that rear end down. tool.

oh and as for the topic at hand, i would rather not have any STi logos on my car when the STi comes out. a single, well placed, thoughtful sticker is okay, but anything more gathers too much attention for my taste. good luck and do whatever your heart desires. if you decide you don't like it you can always take it off.

I have the Prodrive/Bilstein/STi suspension... so I did the only possible correct action, which was to place all my stickers on the underside of my trunk, so my monkey can read them and pass judgement first.

Man, I was really hoping that was a photochop, but I guess not. And is it just me or does it look like he's lugging a dead body in his trunk?

Oh, and count me as another vote on Prodrive stickers of some sort, preferably small ones. That way when someone asks "hey, you have prodrive parts on your car" you can say yes instead of answering dweeby questions from people who ask "hey, is that a real STi?"

Much as I hate the possible association, my suspension looks about like that. However, he's also parked off-camber, that's probably most of the reason.
