Unhappy bad news for me and the SVX

I've decided, along with Robert, that due to the amount of problems that would need to be adressed, to scrap the project and return the formerly CA car back to N/A.

There are just too many issue's with the computer systems and engine since it was CARB setup. It will cost just too much money to do that I don't want to spend.

Sorry all.

Unhappy

Oh no! I was really getting excited about the SVX-T, a very cool project indeed. After all that work, it seems like you are so close right now. Are you still thinking of selling your car, or are you gonna keep it? I dunno what to say.

I think I will keep the car, but I still am looking on the side to sell it, but not very hard. Chuck in FL has the same kit on his SVX, but doesn't hang here, only Kinetic and Yahoo.

There is sooo much that would have to be done, and not enough money.

Don't worry I think there will be a T4 turbo SVX roaming AZ within a few weeks of kastle's kit being removed. So all hope is not lost.

What problems are present on a CARB SVX that are no present on a non-CARB SVX?

Bummer Dude. Sorry to hear your project is dead. Does that mean you are going to turn your Impreza into a monster?

Thumbs up

Kastle,
Good to hear the project may not be dead. I've been following your posts on the death of the project and have been bummed. Even though I'm not one for modifying my car, I really hate to hear it, when someone's put so much work into a project, just to have to abandon it. Keep on truckin', dude, and best of luck.

Well, I suggested to Robert yesterday that we do the RRFPR install, even though the kit was being eyed for KevinL's SVX. I figured it would be easier to do that then uninstall it.

Oh yes, the RRFPR install. Silly me, I should have known.

(RRFPR standing for right-rotating flexible pressure riser, right?)
