Default Why does it have these years?

Ok, a set of springs for legacy. they drop it 1.2 f & r. but why does it say years 97 to 98?

i thoguht springs were same on the legacy from 95 to like some time in 99.

rear 95-99 legacy BD sedan------------ 70381 top=134mm bottom=134mm

Rear 95-99 Legacy BG wagon ---------- 70385 top=134mm bottom=134mm

Front 89-00 Legacy ALL (99+ check) ---- 70198 top=146mm bottom=146mm

I have the Eibach Pro-Kit springs in my '97 Legacy GT (PN# 7706.140). I know two other local guys who have/had them in a '98 and a '99. I'm not sure why Eibach only lists the application years from 97-98, but I'm guessing that it might have something to do with certain models of 95-96 Legacys coming in 2WD?

You ordered springs and you got..... springs?

What else were you expecting? I thought that was it.

--Can't help you with the part about the box being opened, but I think all the Eibach springs have part numbers on 'em somewhere, so it souldn't be too hard to verify that they are the proper ones. Do the springs look ok?

good job on becoming a specialist. jared said he would help me do the install because he has a spring compresser. it would be great if we could all get together and have a multi car work day. so is it the head gasket with your motor or what? man the box was beat to hell. i could fold it up and look in

Yeah Im special.
It's always good to have a spring compressor. The second time I swaped springs I just laid them in the lawn and undid them, popped apart rather uneventfuly. Did you get agx's or Gr2's or reusing stock stuff.
I just replaced my water pump gasket, hopefully that cures my leak thats sure were it looked like it was coming from.
