possibly WTLW, but did anybody watch the Acropolis Rally, and catch what Nicky Grist said about Alister and Colin's contracts being up next year and possibly looking towards Subaru (again)?

Nicky noticed the McRae's dad had spent more than half of the day in the Subaru camp and that the dad "may be talking to them about his sons' contracts being up next year."

I doubt Petter would be too happy about Colin, after Colin possibly cost him the 2nd position at Acropolis.
I want Markko back! Let's go w/ young talented drivers. No more old farts |

Does any of this hinge on T-Mak retiring?

I think Colin needs to take a good look at himself and stop blaming everything and everyone else for his poor results.
He switched cars and co-drivers this year which were suppose to be the cause of his problems last year. Now after the switch, his overall performance has been below his two team mates. Which if your going to say Colin has to get use to the new co-driver and car before he is competitive how do you explain Sainz performance. I never thought I would say this, because I hate Burns, but I would rather see him back in a Subaru then Colin. Also Petter and Colin get along good. Colin helped Petter out a lot right when Petter started the WRC. |

Sainz has a new co-driver now too since he switched to Citroen.

Thats was the point I was trying to make. Sainz is going through the exact same thing as Colin, but his peformance has been so much better.
Is Colin in the twilight of his career? |

I don't know if I'm enthusiastic about Alister. His best WRC finish was 4th. True, he's been driving Hyundais and Mitsubishis in the WRC. Perhaps you could applaud his 4th place despite the Hyundai?

how i wish that petter would just treat colin like colin treated tommi after the safari rally where his tubro broke...here he is not knowing that colin is behind him and the communications were having problems, then tommi goes up and apologizes and colin just pretty much gave him teh finger
i hate colin mcrae, hes even more arrogant than me! |

Well not quite. Colin didn't use teh fingAR, and he did look at Tommi and appear to listen....while revving his engine very loudly.
