Amen to that...I have a WRX wagon, and I'm still here. Though I think I've been grandfathered in because of all my Legover wagon suspension madness.

I think you have gtguy. It's at least a pretty nice looking GC. Need paint on those sideskirts to complete the package though, I agree. So what kind of cool gizmos do you have in that GC?

Mark,

Nice looking coupe. Not sure what all you had done to your 97 L but you'll really like that Phase II, 2.5L SOHC. It won't have the higher rpm of the DOHC, unless of course you stroke the stocker a little. But we all know that you got the RS to cruise leisurely down the highway with, not to go WOT rallying with right...

Enjoy and stay tuned because you're gonna want that 05 Legacy GT - B when it hits the USD market....

Actually Yellow knight's Legacy "L" was a 2.2 motor, not a Phase I 2.5, so he wont have to adapt much to the sudden rush of low & mid-range power.

Good luck, Mark.

That's what I thought (that his L was still a 2.2L). Wasn't sure whether he had done a Frankenscooby mod up to a 2.5L or even a WRX 2.0T swap hence the "Not sure what all you had done to your 97 L " comment.

The 2.2 has a very smooth delivery curve but the roller bearing, SOHC heads just don't have the breathing capacity of the 2.5's DOHC... and .3 more liters of displacement does provide more go juice. I know there is a very subjective "butt dyno" feel between my two 2.2Ls and the rest of the stable's 2.5Ls

I know Mark's gonna grin from ear to ear over the 2.5's gobs of torque and performance modified power band.

BTW - White Knight - what does the Rev/Speed meter do for your car? I don't recall hearing about this before.

Post Subietonic,

REV/SPEED METER

Concept:
Multifunction monitoring and timing device.

Characteristics:
Variety of functions such as tach, speed, 0-400m time, etc… in one unit.

Hope that helps
