Subaru Challenge-Texas

Well gang, so far I'm the only Legacy signed up for the big Subie event down in Texas this weekend. Anybody interested in at least showing up for moral support? It's free to watch, and there's like 98 entries so far. Details are in the TXIC forum, and at www.subaruchallenge.com

It'll be interesting to see how many RS's I can beat in STS!

That sounds like a lot of fun. Only if SOA would do the same thing up here in the Pacific Northwest

They've been trying to get me to go.

If my tranny was in better shape I'd consider it. It's just a LONG hike up there....probably about the same from your neck of the woods....

Yeah, I understand. That'd be a long way to come and not get to participate.

Here's the current entry list. 103 entries, and counting. There's 8 STi's, a Baja, a Forester, an SVX, an OBS, and a VDC model (could that be a Legacy, or is it an Outback?). Other than the possible VDC, I'm the only Legacy entered so far. http://www.subaruchallenge.com/texas/entrylist.html

The VDC's are a legacy, but they may classify them separately.

It'd be nice to go, but with the car driving how it is, I wouldn't enjoy it. Maybe next year.

Have fun though.
