Default WRX 16's on '99 Legacy Outback

How do WRX 16's perform on a legacy outback? Is the offset right?

The stock WRX tires are the wrong size of course, but the size and offset of the wheel is fine.

How would 16" WRX rims with Toyo RA-1's perform on a Legacy Outback? They'll fit, right?

I put my stock 16in WRX rims on my 98 Legacy GT. They look great. They will certainly fit fine on an OB but the stock WRX tire size is different than an OB (but the same as a Legacy GT). Get the correct size tires for your OB for those WRX rims.
Only question I have is the OBs suspension sucks compared to a Legacy esp a GT, why would you want to put performance tires on it?

why would i put outback size tires (15 inchers) on a 16 inch wrx rim?

the reason i'm putting performance tires on is because i've already added strut tower braces and a 21 mm sway bar. next up are springs and struts. stock OB suspension is crappy, but new springs/struts are going to change that.

sorry, I forgot 99OBs had 15 inchers, if you had 16inchers like the more recent ones, you are talking wider, higher profile 16in tires than the WRX or GT.
I actually use 196/65-15s (on OB wheels) on my GT for winter -Nokian NRW, and to be honest, 99% of the time on dry roads I can't tell the differnce from my 205/55-16 all seasons (RE92s or XGT H4s)!
