I think the place in Tacoma is called Turbo Techniques. That might help in your search.

I think its called Turbo Technologies. I bought my Turbonetics Couplers from them. (253) 475-8319 http://www.turbotechnologyinc.com

They deal a lot with domestics... been around a long time and definetely know what they are doing.

Something like Turbo Technicalities or something, down in Tacoma. Phone might be 475-8319, but not sure of the area code.

sent the box down today, they want 40 bucks to make sure this and that and some other things are up to spec.

seems like a fair price for something i dont know how to do, especially considering i can find out if it is bad now... not after putting it on my car.

i talked to a guy named Jim who seems like a pretty good guy.
Picked up the phone on the second ring
does not work out of his dorm room
you know, that old chestnut

they mostly work on domestic like Erik said.

Thanks again Ethan/Erik for the help.

Before I learned how to do it myself, I had them clean up a couple of my turbos when I pressurized my crankcase and pushed oil through the seals - they do good work.

I want to get my hands on a destroyed turbo just so I can learn how to dis-assemble and re-assemble one. Not that I would ever need to... but you never know.

Blueribbon what did you have happen to you with them?

Jim seemed like a pretty smart, cool guy on the phone when i talked to him. But if you got messed around with by them you should tell atleast me considering i have money going in that direction soon.

Everyone else i have talked to about this place say it is great.
