I thought the STi had drive-by-wire as well and not a cable controlled throttle.

Article was nice but seemed biased towards the R32 but it's not surprising coming from a VW website.

Then read the Subaru baised version. http://www.subdriven.com/features/st...ue_heaven.html

...and then wonder how much text was 'borrowed' from one review to the other. It was like reading the same review with about 3 extra paragraphs, and 3 others cut out to keep it under X words.

The '04 models lose the yellow and gain the electric blue used on the PT Cruiser. Maybe they can make it in next years "all blue shootout"

Please get your information straight. This was talked about previously, and basically it was a joint collaberation between vwvortex and subdriven. I know. I wrote the SD article.

It doesn't change the fact that it felt like reading the same review over again, with less emphasis on now nice the leather Konig seats are in the R32.

Not that I don't appreciate the articles (I do), but after reading the vwvortex one it was driving me insane trying to just get through the Subdriven one. Kind of like reading one abridged version of Don Quixote, and then reading another abridged version with different parts left in and out... but not being able to find the unabridged version.

I'm sure I'm rehashing some huge discussion in some other thread that I haven't read, so I'll just stop now before I offend someone too deeply.
