Yeah, Hooters works just fine!

I know most everyone works, so we should plan it around that. I was thinking something like 6:30 or 7pm (basing this on average WMIC dinner meet times). Some where around that time. Kart Trak is open till 10, not sure when Hooters closes. I figure we need like... An hour or to 90 minutes most at Kart Trak. Maybe a little more or less? Won't take all night to eat either.

How does that all sound?

Dan, sounds like a lot of fun BUT I am leaving for Aruba the next morning and have to be at the airport for 4:30 AM!!
I am also going to miss the Danbury meet because of my vacation.
I'm sure Aruba will be worth it though!

bah!

You missed yesterday man! Six Flags was fun

We all jumped on a kiddie coaster first... Then we said to he!! with it, and we all went on The Superman. I got on one more, Matt did the batman as well, and jumped on Superman a second time. Gonna be planning another one. Hopefully get more people. We did stick together as a group, and pretty easily IMO.

Oh well! You'll have fun in Aruba!

Eitherway... There will be pictures for ya!

Speaking of which...

You guys prefer to eat then to to Kart Trak, or go to Kart Trak then eat?
Some of you guys will be getting out of work, etc and might want to eat first. That's why I ask. Really not a big deal to me which we do first!

I might head up depending when I get out of class. My class starts at 5:30. This is my last class so I don't see it lasting for more than 2 hrs if that.

LMAO
I was waiting for somebody to say that!
Hmmm! Food digesting while flying around a corner! Hey, I could use that as a secret weapon while spinning out!

As I remember, you're evil at kart trak! I'll have to find those old stats that I kept to be sure!
Hope to see you there

I actually forgot a variable, what I meant to say was Me + Food + 1.0Gs around corners = not good.

As for being evil on the track I don't think I am. The fast guys are Ru Fan and RSMatt that I know of.

Better than being a slow moving target that everyone hits!
I can only hope Wednesday night isn't as painful!

Looking at your times, you spanked Matt by .19 seconds for best lap (WOW!), and had 3rd place for the day. And of course, you guys had another time around the course... No idea what damage you did that time around.

Where as I, the king and master of Kart Trak had best lap of 12.69 ranking at 15! I just feel fortunate there were 22 other people listed who were worse than I was!

I challenge everyone to try and beat my super karting skills!

I would say...

back in February. You both ran 12:59, but you had the best lap over him. 11.27 vs 11.46. I don't have what you guys ran the second time, but I can bring these stats with me if ya want!

That's unless you're Dangerous, whomever that is... He ran an amazing lap of 14.95... Heck, I can ran the 1/4 in that! Whoever goes by Binch though (Ru Fan???) ran a stunning 11.01

Oh well! I'm gonna have to beat Jeff's best lap of 11.66 while I'm there! Perhaps if I stop spinning out I could actually get a decent time!

So what time are we going to meet? At earliest I think I can get to the trak at 8 maybe 7:30. Depends when the professor decides to hand out the exam and how long it takes me to finish.

I was thinking either 7 or 7:30...
People prefer 7:30 or 8?
Maybe start meeting up there around 7:30 to start around 8pm? I'll give them a call and let them know we'll be coming up.

My only concern on meeting later on is dinner. Not sure what will be open. I figure we'll be at Kart Trak maybe... What... 45 minutes at most?

10 to 15 minutes to Hooters. Anyone know what time Hooters closes? Probably 10pm? That will be enough time to go in and eat.

Doesn't matter to me which Hooters we go to. According to Hooter.com, both are about the same distance away... 14 miles (13 and 15 actually).

We can figure it out there for all I care.

Wethersfield is certainly closer for me to get home, but I also fear the Berlin Turnpike like the plague.

OK I just called. They said last call is 11:45pm. I asked them is it ok to still come in for dinner at 10pm. They said it's fine. Meeting for 7:30 and start at 8 sounds good to me.
