My attempt at an 03 Subaru Shootout video

Before I get the million+ posts about the codecs. I tried my mp4 codec and it made everything really nice but the file was 250 megs

This is the best median I could find for a almost 4 minute vid with decient audio and video (so you can see the times). But if someone does have FCP and would like to help me iggure out my codec problem. Please pm me. None the less, its 29 megs

so its about 8 megs a minute or so. Which is about on par with the size of the other videos I have done.

If the majority of you don't like the music, tell me. I'll take it out, its not like it isn't the first time

Also, if someone doesn't want there car or likely hood in the video. I'll remove the video from the web and take you out. I don't want to step on anyones toes.

Finally, if you can't see the video. This was cut on a MAC using final cut pro 3. So try using quicktime. If it still doesn't work. I'll see what I can do. Or mabye someone can take my final (i'll up an even higher res version) and someone else can re-encode it for you on a more pc friendly format.

I hope you enjoy. I had fun watching you all run.
And finally, I would like to thank the sponcers of this event along with Revision and Codean for haulin my ass to and from this event.

Have you tried using Cleaner 5 or Sorenson Sqweeze to shrink down the file size for the net?

I could not get either link to work for me on my Mac.

I'll try again tomorrow.

Cool... The audio quality didnt seem to survive very well though.

If you bring a CD with the full cut on it, Ill run it through DIVX for yah.

Alissa thought that Jay and Dan's cars sounded "weird" because they didn't sound like "normal" boxer motors but I thought they sounded great.

The launch that Dan did on that last clip was amazing. It just took off...
