Unhappy leaving the 2.5T community

Unfortunately after doing some quick cost analysis, i found a cheaper 2.2T engine, brand new for cheaper than a built 2.5L.

so i just decided on the 2.2, less torque i know, but better tolerance to boost and subaru swears to me that the stock RS ECU will learn the new engine with the J&S safeguard. (i am not sure about that.)

if it doesn't, i'll order the Link and some RC injectors to match.
Of course some kinda of intercooler will be a priority before any kind of boost. i think a subaru top mount is gonna be it due the fast climbing size of the bill. i wanted front mount but the greddy is still $900.

other than that, i hope to see my car back on the road by mid july.

i'll update on the situation.
