Post Japanese Badge Number

I rang Suabru Australia here (in Australia!) and gave them the part number for the Japanese badge to see if they could get it in.

They rang back and said that the part number did not appear in the Australian parts list and they then tried Subaru Japan where the part number did not, also, appear.

They sugggested that there may have been an error, such a 0 instead of O.

If someone here actually has a badge, could they post the part number so that I may see if we can get more badges ordered in?

Regards

Jamsvx

Try Dale at motorsportwarehouse.com
He had some recently, at the very least he may give you a lead. Also try japaneseparts.com

The good news is, I've got the little "baggie" my emblem came in with the part number sticker on it The bad news is, it's at home I'll try to remember to grab it tonight and post the number. Sorry to make you wait (unless someone beats me to it).

Thumbs up

And the crowd goes wild!! RANDY...RANDY!!

Actually, come to think of it, I think I had the part numbers at one time. Hmm...maybe in this computer somewhere. I think my dad ordered one silver and one gold one just to check and see if we could get them. Apparently they never came, because I haven't heard anything else about it.

Okay, here's the number from the actual Japanese supplier.

ORAMENT (Yes, that's the way it's spelled on the package) SVX
93060PA030

this is taken from the genuine parts sticker that sealed the styrofoam envelope that held the part. This has GOTTA be the right number. BTW those are zeros -- "O's" are rounder than "0's".

Oh, and one more thing. If I need to, I can scan the sucker. It not only has the number, it has the bar code.

I too put my name down for a badge, sent the money and it was never received :-(

*I think it went amiss twixt here and USA....and before it got to Vinscimone*

If could email me that scan so I can go, in person to them, that would be great!

Thanks

Thumbs down

After never receiving my emblem I confirmed with Vin that it did indeed go out in the mail. Upon doing that I went in a raised such a big stink,at the post office, that they are now going to try and track it down starting at the post office in New York where Vin is. My post office acually took it as there fault because they've been having some major problems in getting mail to the recipients(see P.S. below). I told them if they cannot track it down they can cough up the $50.00 I spent to buy the darn thing. So much for through rain, hail, snow, sleet, ect. They can't even get it to right post office to deliver it anymore!!!

Still hoping to get an emblem some day
B.C.

P.S. My post office just recieved a huge bundle of mail intented for New York. My mail delivery person(mail man) is under evaluation for not delivering mail to the right addresses. I recieved notices that my bills were not being paid on time!!! It ended up that my mail was going to the house of the same number but of the wrong street. The other house owner was on vacation and my mail was just building up at his house. It's kinda hard to pay bills if you never get them!!! I had to have the main manager of the post office send notes to all my bill senders(5 of them) so the deliquencies wouldn't be held against me. I've lost so much respect for the postal service. Now they have the gall(sp?) to up the price of a stamp. Hopefully it will up their quality because it is obvious that they need to (IMHO)!!!!

Considering all the things that COULD go wrong, I am pretty amazed that I can pay $0.33 and have a letter get from anywhere USA to anywhere USA in a couple of days.

And I'm not just saying that because CRZ senior (Also known as V-1) is postmaster here

I can tell you that the guys in charge of that station won't get a slap on the hand for that mistake...

Exclamation

Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It only took more than a month for the post office to deliver my emblem to me. It arrived yesterday(01-06-01)!!!!!!!!! I think I'm gonna go with only U.P.S. and Priority Mail from now on. They may cost a lil more but atleast I know whatever I send out will arrive in a day or two instead of a month

Finally a happy owner of a Japanese Emblem
B.C.

P.S. For those of you who did not order a Japanese emblem.......You really are missing out. They're absolutely beautiful. Much better looking than the stock emblem!!!

P.P.S. CRZ MSL, Perhaps you can send CRZ senior(V-1) over to my area so he can show them how to deliver mail the correct way My NEW postal delivery guy will not even say "hello" when we bump in to each other!!!
