What are you talking about girlfriend? I wish Bruce did the ads over here instead of Lance.

Looking at those Willis Subaru ads just proves that we (USA) aren't the only one to get crappy/bizarre Subaru ads!

"This is the age of Legacy"

Maybe they made more sense to the people the ads targeted.

You have to remember the era the ads were put out in.

You can't tell me that there's quite a few if not a lot of tv commercials of that era that are just damn funny/stupid....if you look at them today.

you think "age of Legacy" sounds dumb - bug-eye WRX catch phrase in Japan was "pride of sports." The heck da mean?

I took it to mean: (the) "pride of sports" (as in, a category of cars). I actually thought it was a pretty cool phrase.

... and, yeah, the BW ads are pretty damn funny... I didn't realize he was such an ad-whore (but, then again, where else is he gonna get his money...)

And "sports" was misspelled in the main SOJ page for a while when it came out

Go over to Japan and try reading some of the English slogans they have for things. They're getting much better, but some of what they write on things just crack me up. Pride of Sports isn't half bad, trust me
