Default v6 suspension swap ?rubber mounts?

I am currently in the middle of doing the suspension in my 99RS

I have v6 springs going on KYB AGX struts. I am moving all of the rubber stopps and mounts over from the old struts, but what I am seeing is that the rears do not seem to have rubber mounts on the bottom. It also seems that there are no rubber bump stops on my stock RS suspension at all!!!

any reason you can think of for this? am I looking in the wrong place for the bump stops (they should be on the strut piston am I right?)

as of right now i will be setting them up like stock but I am worried about the possibility of bottoming out with no bump stops, and corrosion on the bottom of the rear struts due to there being no rubber mount.

I was looking at the KYB AGX install on scoobymods (GC8 suspension section) and that is what got me thinking

thanks,

Hito

Todd-

On your front struts, you should have just an upper spring. On the rears, it's top and bottom rubber spring seat. The bump stops are probably hidden up underneath the dust boots as you are thinking .
