Default 2nd Annual Novi Sushi Meet

Hi All!

Jorge and I are planning to drive and stay overnight in MI from July 26th thru the 27th.

We will be leaving at about 7ish from Borders, so if anyone is interested post here (for an idea on head count).

The plan for saturday is to eat at Cherry Blossoms (sushi restaurant) at about 2ish.

We will be posting the hotel information if you would like to reserve a room too.

Total final head count on July 11th, so we can reserve the room. Speak up if anyone needs a ride.

It will be lots o' fun!!!!

Amy

Wow, and I thought you had to be from an area to get a meet going there.

Keep me in the loop... I'd love to go, but have to see how all is flowing around then. Ohhhh, and I can't wait for the sushi.

Here's the thread from the pics from the last meet, to remind people of the good time!

May Fred continue to rest in peace and have good Thai food!

That was the last time I met him.

Please excuse my ignorance but, what are we talking about?

Is this a big deal for us folks in Michigan? Should I be there with my partially completed S202 clone?

It's as big a deal as you'd like to make of it, but it's more a means of being sociable. Quite a few of the Chicago folk have become good friends over the years with quite a few of the east MI folk. So it's always nice to head over there, as they head over here. For parties, meets, events, etc.

It's that brotherly subie love

Always nice to meet new faces, if you can, feel free to swing by, if not, no biggie

You want good quality sushi at a decent price in Novi, Ajishin is the place to go. Cherry Blossom isnt as good, BUT they have more seating available than Ajishin. There's always One World Market too for good rolls at a great price.

Saturday July 26th @ 14:00 EDT???

I'll mark my Impreza calendar right now and I don't even like sushi.

I'll have futo maki or nori (I think that's what they're called) rolls.

Cherry Blossom is the place to go simply b/c of seating concerns. Just more conveniet that way . Jorge, if you haven't found a place to stay, don't rush to .

Detroit Crew, check in

Cherry is located near twelve oaks shopping mall. It is in one of the shopping center on Novi Rd. If you get off #162 on I-96, it's right there.

If it's Sunday, I would like to join. Let me check schedule, though. I don't care much about Sushi(which I make everyday at a Japanese restaurant ), but I would like to meet people.
