Nobody knows, except the dealer says by early September. OTOH, last year I was asking the same dealer when the original 2003 Bajas would arrive and he said "we've been told about a month." Just then, a transporter arrived with a yellow Baja on it.

I can tell you I saw a transporter on the freeway this morning. Two black STI's, several assorted Impreza and WRX models, no Baja.

Does anyone know where the Baja is being assembled? I assume Indiana like the other Legacy models. I think the entire Impreza line including Forester comes from Japan.(?)

Back to your original question, my best guess is sometime in August. My local dealer is supposed to call with pricing and option info as soon as he gets it.

If I recall, mine had an Indiana sticker on the window. The sales guy trashed a lot of that stuff before I could ask to keep it.

question on the delivery date on the baja turbo:
From one of the most reptuibdable (sp.) dealers here in the seattle area, They are expecting delivery sometime in augest. So I assume that some places would get it sooner and others later.

Question on where the baja is built:
Legacy base cars are built in Indina (Outback, Legacy, and now the baja). All the Impresa based cars are in Japan (Impresa, WRX, and Forester.
