Thumbs up Impressed w/ DD road dyno repeatability/accuracy

Got out the other day w/ the road dyno and was very impressed w/ the repeatability and accuracy. Previously I had been dynoed on a dynojet w/ 216 hp/ 224 ft lbs. Took five runs (w/ a cool down), switching directions each time and came up w/ the following

1 211/225
2 206/226
3 212/224
4 215/230
5 217/227

averaged these and came up w/ hp 212.2, torque 226.4. Horsepower was within 1.5%, torque 1%- I can live w/ this

I was also really impressed with the consistency and accuracy of the road dyno. Now if only it had the resolution of a real dyno, we'd be set. Deffinately an awsome tuning tool though.

I'd assume that was directed to Bigsky in regards to his 200+ figures.

BigSky, What mods?
Correct! Bucking horse capital of the world. Each May they have a large rough stock sale, w/ cowboys bcuking them out of the chute and rodeo promoters bidding on the horses- put through a couple of hundred horses. Gets a little rowdy around town for those three days.

I'm running essentially ScoobySport's stage 2, uppipe, downpipe, 3rd oe cat (SCCA), catback, ecutek reflash, a few Samco bits. Spool up is incredible, starting in the low 2000's. Torque comes early and stays very flat. It is exactly the setup I was after.

wyowrx- do you autox? I met a nice couple from Cheyenne two weekends ago in Billings autoxing, they had a very nice setup Focus SVT (running R compounds). Good drivers too.

They told me about a two day event in Gillette 7/19,20 - I'm going to try and make it (pretty close).
