Question Headers for the EG33

Anyone interested? I am thinking of having a set custom built.

Cheaper in volume.

I did not know about the Stebro headers. I'll get in touch with them post the holidays.

The more interest Stebro gets in the project, the sooner it will be available!

Kastle from the turbo install pics that I've seen, it looks like the custom exhaust piping you have bolts right up to the stock headers. So if the new headers are swappable, you should also be able to use them with your turbo piping. Any improved exhaust flow should help the turbo spool up easier.

If the new headers are built-in as one unit(not separate pieces), with new pipes for the first dual catalytic converters, then it'll make it harder to hook-up but not impossible. Then all you'd have to do is some cutting and welding.

Whichever setup it will be, won't be an issue for us NON-TURBO guys, but I would like for it to work for both.

I would have been really interested had it not been for the turbo installation. I think getting headers for the SVX, in combination to the exhaust and intake, would make the SVX sound and perform more like it should.

How goes the turbo install?

I have nothing against turbos, I think they are really neat. Especially when they are in cars that I get to drive, but don't have to pay for repairs on.

Looking forward to news on your SVX, best of luck!

Question

Who would make these headers? What kind would they be? How much would they cost? Stebro is rumored to be developing headers for our SVX. They already have a SWEET exhaust system available for our SVX's! Why don't you put in a deposit with them for their headers? Maybe they'll become available sooner then!
