Yeah, Brahmzy and LYHTSPD were the guys who tackled it first on here. I just did the write up. That's why i thank them in the first post. =]

And yes, it's already in Scoobymods.com

I've still gotta order those 7440's. LYHTSPD... can you link to the site you ordered yours from? I definitely want the colored glass, not the painted clears...

Thanks LYHTSPD

CloNeGTS: they most definitely do NOT fit in the front turn signal socket.

edit: hmmm... i tried to email that guy a hmotorsports.com that you linked to to ask where the hell to paypal the funds to, since his site doesn't specify and his links don't seem to work. Mail got bounced, his mailbox is full. Looking for another place...

skivvie: Yeah, I had the same problem. I should have mentioned that to you. Here is their phone number:
TEL: (909) 548-4298, M-F 9am-4pm PST

Also, the email for the paypal is turbocrx@hotmail.com. Call them after you send the money to make sure that the stuff got shipped. I just put my order in the Notes section of the paypal. Worked just fine. Make sure that you put quantity, manf., part number, and a quick description of the parts you want to order. This should save you some headaches of getting the wrong stuff.

As long as you don't get crazy with the heat (be it an oven or a heat gun) you will be fine. I was worried about the same thing.

HAH... Looks like those of us in California are worried about nothing when it comes to trying to track down yellow front turn signals.. Check it:

http://www.chp.ca.gov/html/streetlegal.html

Incorrect color of turn signal. It must be white or yellow to the front, red or yellow to the rear (24953 VC).

Heh, same for Ohio, it says nothing about color, and even as parking lights, they have to be Amber OR white =)

As a warning to you all:

Under no circumstances should you wipe the inside of the lense with alcohol and a paper towel. Sure it sounds harmless, but you'll make thousands of scratches on the inside.

The lense is coated with some kind of mold-release. My friend got a finger print on the inside of the lense and took some alcohol to clean the oil. Instead it scratched the mold-release film. It took us about 5 hours to clean the entire inside of the lense with alocohol, forcefully scrubbing with papertowels and q-tips. And no, Goo-gone, 3M Tar Remover, D-Solve It, Acetone (Do not even try, we tested no small corner behind the black rim and it turned it completely clouded white), or any of those line of products worked at all. Alcohol was the best best. After finishing it off with alcohol, we took some Blitz to reduce any noticeable scratches to swirls. Then some high quality zaino scratch filler to remove the swirls.

The moral is:

Please be extremely careful with the lense. If you do manage to scratch it really bad, don't worry, its not the end of the world, but I can assure you that your fore arms will hurt for the following week.

Looks great on my white 04, definatly one of the best visual mods you can do! and its cheap, actually free! 1 little tip once your ready to put the headlights back on the car, its my advice to have someone help you so that they can pry back the top of the bumper( the little part where you removed the plastic tabs from, located to the inside of the light and the outside of the grill) while tou wiggel the light in place, or mayb even masking tape it wen u get the light off if u dont you might scratch some of he lighning between the light and the bumper trying to put it back on like me. its not really visable but knowing its ther annoys me! now i have to take them off again and go to town with the touch up paint!

Skivvie,

I like to give a sincere thank you to you for posting that excellent procedure of how to clear up the 04' headlights. I did my lights last weekend following your super details instruction and it turn out perfect. I am SO HAPPY that I got the JDM look for free

I also like to thank Brahmzy and LYHTSPD for their contributions to make this write up happened.

To all you people with the STi's HID, I didn't want to mess with the HID bulb, module and the leveling device, so I just left everything on and put the whole assembly in the oven. Nothing melt, so don't worry about it, 200 degrees is not that hot at all, just enough to soften up the sealer.

I got a hit of the JDM crack pipe for free, yehhhhhh
