Thumbs up Good news for those looking for leveler harness

I was sitting in an STi yesterday and noticed that its HID lights use the same leveling switch that EDM Subarus use for their headlight levelers. I looked under the hood but did not want to fiddle too much with the wiring while the salesguy was around!

So I was thinking that the wiring harness for this switch will someday be available for purchase from the proper channels.

After seeing my whole front end (from the firewall foreward!) reconstructed lately, I can imagine that any part can be ordered to fix a car. the question will be, can we buy just this part of the wiring harness or will it be the entire deal? I'll have to ask my body shop.

ugh, some fool made a left in front of me (again) on McBean and Ave. Scott. No injuries and thank god tina was not in the car. after last years wreck she couldn't handle another one.

but repairs are almost done(after 2 months!). just waiting on a few items like an STi Grill and scoop and Prodrive Headlights. Also took the downtime to have the ECU reflashed to Stage 1 by Cobb.

sucks very much. I'll drop you a line when its done and you can check it out.

Yeah, that would be a good idea. I've seen so many WRX's in the valley of late. have you seen the two EVO's as well? a silver one and a blue one.

I've seen a Red one, and two SRT4's, a red one and a grey one.

I'll post in SCIC for a meet.
Last Summer we had a Fat Burger meet.
I'll make it the Second Annual Fat Burger/Eat a Triple King-get sick for 2 days Meet.

Hows that?

ps-
Sorry to hear sbout the car accident.

I build a harness, but currently you must crimp 12 pins and populate three plugs. I'm trying to get the OEM plugs to make it more factory looking. Email me for details. It works the way it is..

Hi guy's just a quick question, is this leveler part of the ECU or just run of the switch in the cab.

I got the HID lights for my STi but I can't get the leveler as yet.

Any help would be appreciated.

Default Levelling Harness

I supply them now with no cutting or crimping, and using factory connectors.

Contact me by EMAIL for details.

Thanks.

Yeah, I got help from my electrical guru friend and we took about a day to get a detachable harness working in my EDM lights.

JIN,
You may have made a harness but not using factory connectors though. Anyone can go to Radioshack and make a solution with generic plugs. If you EVER have to change a lamp for ANY reason, you'll be glad you went with factory plugs.

My harnesses were tested in a saltspray chamber for a week without complication, using the original weatherproof connectors like on the lamps. To buy them, ya gotta buy 1700 bux worth of parts for 2 connectors - factory minimum quantities. The key to my product is the connectors.

My harnesses are completely removable - no cutting or splicing required. They're self-sufficient, providing their own power and ground through independent connections.

I build this kind of stuff by day, so I extended my expertise into the night when I'm not travelling the world for work.
