Default Review Request: Cobb Catback for WRX

I'm having a tough time finding info on it, like sound clips, performance reviews, etc. Anyone care to enlighten me? Thanks.

Josh

Great sound. I have never heard another Suby exhaust sound like it. I just wish I could get a clip on my STI on the business end of this. The muffler sounds like it is expensive and so does your car, if that means anything to you..compared to the HKS (popular) which sounds like it cost $200. I would rate it right up there with Borla as the best sounding, it's just not quite as loud as a Borla. Power is also good, but not as good as the sound. I haven't gotten anything but compliments on the sound at Suby meets.

Well, I broke down and bought one, so I guess I can write my own review now.

First, it looks awesome. Not only the muffler and tip, but the rest of the piping as well. Clean welds, smooth bends, etc. The tip is very tasteful and could probably pass for stock.

The sound is sweeeet. You can definitely tell it's there, but it's not obnoxious at all. My girlfriend even likes it. Very low and rumbly.

I don't feel too much difference power wise, but it does seem to be smoother, and I have noticed the revs climbing a bit quicker. My car is stock otherwise.

I ordered it direct from Cobb. They emailed me the day I ordered it and said it was backordered and should ship in 2-4 weeks. Two DAYS later, I had an email with the tracking info and it arrived four days after that. I had an install question and the person that answered the phone was very polite and helpful. I couldn't be more pleased with the whole thing.
