Question HKS Racing Blow off Valve. Who's got the 411?

I need more "relief" off throttle, the TiAl did the job very well, but I sold it with my gorgeous topmount I had
Now Im using the HKS valve, and its insufficient at times. Im debating installing another one upstream, or replacing it with HKS's Racing valve, which utilizes the same flange.

Problem,.... its made for 3 bar, will 10psi even activate it? Ill be going to 15-20 psi later but for daily driving I need it to let off!

I run the HKS SSQV, 15psi daily (though 13 right now due to the stupid heat here in AZ) without problem...

I've pushed 17psi no problem as well through that BOV.

I forget where I read this info but UNDER certain boost pressures (different on every turbo) you cross a zone where the pressure in the system after the turbo can still overcome the spinning compressor wheel. I know I sound like Im on crack, but I understand it in my head.

I just dont want to blow my turbo up...

You mean where the pressure in the system between compressor & TB can backspin the compressor wheel? IIRC, thats from a BOV that doesn't open at low enough pressure differences (between intake tract and in the manifold.
