race engine question

whats up people. ive read throught the faq and have a few questions.

when the 01 RS is paid off, its going in the garage and is hopefully going to be a rally car one day... im not really sure what class im going to run... but im sure it wont be open class with the big boys.

im trying to decide if the 2.5 buildup would be a better option over a 2.0 swap. from what i gathered in the faq, a built up 2.5 will put down more torque, which would be a great benefit for rally... but you can pump out more power with a 2.0.

if i went w/ the 2.5, i know there are plenty of great kits out there and cobb has all the internals that i would need to build the engine to hold 250 or so hp.

whats your opinions guys?

you could run 250hp to the crank on the stock internals no problem, with proper tuning.

swap it.. best way to go!!! easy power. It seems like lots of the turbo RS guys are always having probs with tuning or trans or somthing.
