It was a fun coarse for sure.
Big thanks to Jeremy for letting me drive his car. It was fun and a well put together car. I know I could of done better but couldn't put down a run that I felt was error free.

Faraz wasn't there.

There were a lot of problems with numbers and people not putting the correct class on the car. When T&S enters a car about to take a run, they could type in the wrong car number... I'll fix that when I get home.

Also, there are not going to be DOY points awarded for the event since the course was changed.

Sorry that i missed it. I bet I would have had fun. The car lives and is better than ever! Now all I need to do is get it ready for Peru.

thanks, rob. i didn't think i *heard* him around...

no worries on the DOY points! esp since i ran the "long" course (and poorly, i might add). although i AM hoping to take over the coveted 47th spot. aww yeah.

did the mustang ever get restarted (not that you'd know anything about that )?

I appologize that Faraz wasn't there. It was completely my fault. You see, it was my turn to watch him but I didn't know untill Saturday night. And then it was too late to get him to go. For all those missing Faraz "voice of the Philly Region", I appologize.

On to other things, Thank Tom for driving my car so well, now I know it's got WAY better times in it. Guess I should start upgrading the driver some more. Although my car's ability might be a unimportant point now, since driving Rob's XXL go-cart I'm gonna be turning up the pressure on Kelly to get a MR-S!!!! That car was more fun then I could have imagined to drive. How much are Hoosiers and Konis again? Thanks a ton Rob for letting me drive it.

Course was great fun and had just enough for that sized lot. Good job Dan and Rob putting it together. As Ken mentioned in PHAX, it's the greatest of ironies that Bill wasn't there.

Good luck to all at Peru!!!

See you all at Sports fest,

Jeremy

The Mustang got his intake hose back on and it ended up that he lost a computer chip out of it's socket. He got his last run in in the last heat.

Jeremy, are you serious about getting an MR-S? Would you autocross it? If you are, do yourself a favor and start stocking up on motion sickness pills. The car will spin on you if you even look at it wrong at the limits... Once the rears lose traction, that's it - you're looking over your shoulder to see if there is a light pole headed your way.

Well, I hate Kelly's Jetta and Kelly dislikes her Jetta. We've been talking about giving it the boot for a few months now. Problem is that she pays next to nothing for it, we can't afford to raise the payments very much (<$50) and she doesn't want a used car.

The three cars on my list for her to get are: 00-01 2.5RS, MR-S or Mazdaspeed Protege. (Note all are good for auto-x) The MR-S moved WAY up on the list for me after Sunday. Problem is that is the most expensive by $5-6K.

If she got an MR-S it WOULD be auto-x'd. I just don't think she would ever let me put those struts on it that you have, unless they can be made civil at lower settings. I wouldn't even want to drive that daily they way it was on Sunday.

Jeremy,

Geez, Rob usually runs those things full soft too. And you thought they were harsh? You gotta get into the Auto-X mentality more... Explaining to your friends and relitives how it's supposed to ride like a brick cus it's fast through the cones.

I know where you can get a nice STS prepped RS...hehehe. But it rides a little stiff too...

Poor baby like a soft ride...

The shocks that I have on there are set on soft for the lot. Since they are the Konis yellows, you can only change rebound and that was set soft.

Believe it or not, the shocks aren't that bad on bump, and are fairly close to the stock shocks. What you are feeling is the very stiff sidewall of Hoosiers and the vibration and bumps coming up through the front sway bar.

I do drive it "daily" and constantly forget to take my autox setting off the shocks. I personally like a "stiff" car when I drive. I don't drive it for hours on end, though.

OK, OK, OK, so I'm a dislexic retard when it comes to stuts and car stiffness, if you all remember Corey and I's discovery from DC!!!

If it's the Hoosiers then great, I can get the stuts and just have to swap tires every race, like I do now.

And Corey, don't tempt me with the RS, I might even be willing to trade you straight up for the WRX.
